Levels Smoke Shop: a custom Shopify theme for a 284-product catalog.
A West Palm Beach glass-art and accessories retailer was running a stock theme with no visual identity. I designed and built a production Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme that drops onto the live store, renders the full catalog automatically, and gives the owner a storefront that looks like the shop feels.

Make the store look like the shop.
The physical store is a curated gallery: collectible glass, premium hardware, a staff that knows the makers. The website was a default theme with a logo dropped in. The owner's ask was simple: bring it up to the standard of the other sites I'd built, and do it without creating a maintenance burden for someone who is not a developer.
That second half set the constraints. Everything the owner might want to change had to live in the Theme Customizer, not in code. The catalog had to render from the store's existing collections without a re-tagging project. And the theme had to be a clean upload, not a fork someone has to babysit.
Premium without being cold.
Large rounded product cards, generous whitespace, and a glass-pill navigation so the glass itself is the loudest thing on the page.
Buyers of collectible glass compare joint size, material, and maker. The product page puts category, SKU, availability, and shipping in a scannable table next to the price.
The 21+ gate is unavoidable for this category, so it was designed as a branded welcome rather than a legal speed bump. One tap, remembered on the device.
Slide-out AJAX cart drawer with quantity controls and a direct path to checkout. Adding a second item never costs a page load.

Built the way Shopify wants themes built.
- Online Store 2.0 throughout. JSON templates for every page type, sections with schema settings, and section groups for header and footer. Fifty files, no dependencies.
- Navigation follows the store's menu. The header renders whatever menu the owner maintains in Shopify admin. No hard-coded links to go stale.
- Catalog renders itself. Collection pages, filtering, and sorting work from the existing 284-product catalog and its collection structure on day one.
- Everything the owner touches is a setting. Brand name, logo, favicon, accent color, heading font, cart drawer on or off, age gate on or off, social links.
- Predictive search, variant picker with URL sync, product gallery, reveal-on-scroll, mobile drawer. All vanilla JavaScript.
- Validated. Passes Shopify Theme Check. Ships with a one-click product-import CSV for the demo data.

The theme is the start of the conversion work, not the end of it.
With the storefront in place, the next pass is instrumented: add-to-cart rate by collection, drawer-to-checkout rate, and mobile versus desktop conversion. The product page is designed to be iterated on section by section, which is the point of building it in sections.
