Product designer and e-commerce operator with an engineer's toolkit: seven years running a DTC brand from WooCommerce to Shopify, production Shopify storefronts, and product interfaces prototyped in working code — layered on 20+ years taking hardware from concept through manufacturing. Shipped, running, verifiable.
I design the pages people buy from and the interfaces people decide with, and I build them in working code. Seven years running a direct-to-consumer brand taught me what a product page has to do; twenty years in hardware product development taught me how to ship. I've done the solo version of this. I'm looking to do the team version.
Seven years running a DTC brand
Founder & Operator — 3GRAMS · 2019 to 2026
Grew a consumer-hardware brand to $1.4M+ in lifetime sales: designed the storefront, migrated it from a self-hosted WooCommerce store to Shopify, ran merchandising, launches, and growth, and managed six overseas manufacturing partners. Read the case study →
I've been responsible for the actual revenue number, so I'm careful with budgets and impatient with work that doesn't move anything. I respect process because I've paid for skipping it. And in 2023–24 I was Lead Product Development Engineer at STIIIZY, reporting to leadership and shipping on other people's timelines. Solo zero-to-one has a ceiling; the next version of this work needs research, analytics, and engineering partners. That's why I'm looking in-house.

How I work
Research, prototype in code, ship, measure.
Every screen exists to help someone decide something. I write that decision down first, gather the evidence, set the hierarchy in text before anything is visual, then prototype in working code so the interactions are the spec. Shipped work is built so the team can run it without me, and measured monthly rather than redesigned yearly.
Six stages, each with an artifact
Decision brief → ranked findings → hierarchy outline → coded prototype with annotated decisions → shipped work with handoff notes → metrics note and the next change.
What you get from someone who has run the whole thing
The number comes into the room with me. Handoffs to engineering are peer conversations. And I've already done this reporting to leadership inside a large company.
Open to in-house product design and e-commerce roles, and available for storefront, product, and AI automation work. The fastest way to reach me is email.
